Stallions at Stud
Good luck to Tuppence and Showman who have been exported to Spain. We'd like to wish Pablo all the best with them. We are sure they will do you proud.
Riccalton Gauntlet
39.5" Grey - 08/05/95
Purchased to start breeding performance ponies. Very good bone, loves everyone and enjoys being ridden. Broken-in in a week by an 8 year old! Very successful with his mares. Kindest nature. He passed his performance testing as a ridden stallion in 2005 gaining a distinction. We hope to have in out undersaddle this season. Congratulations to Gauntlet who had all very pretty foals and all had good success so far including 2nd in Royal Welsh 2007. Gauntlet has gone to Heidi Feb 08 to do ridden classes this year so just watch this space!

Brinleyview Camanchee
38" Skewbald - 2003
Chee is a prolific show winner with too many wins to mention. Winning 2 classes in the International show in Sweden. Since a foal he has won so many classes and championships against mature ponies, we are so proud of him. He is easy to do and loves showing. He won Royal Welsh as a yearling and he has just come in to his own over the last 2years. A real joy to own. My 8yr old nephew can sit on him out the field when he is with his mares! He has a busy future ahead of him, showing, breeding and we hope to have him broken to ride and drive. Not only shown in shetland and Mountain & Moorland classes but CHAPS too!

Orion of Brindister
31" Blue Roan - 18/05/85
Our most successful stallion, bought as a colt foal from the Shetland Isles 18 years ago. His brother Rascal of Brindister we sold to Australia. Orion is a very traditional type who again is very well mannered. Now retired looking after an old 13.2 mare! I'm sure when he comes home we will find him a mare to retire with!
Camelot of Catchpool
31" Black - 04/08/00
Lots of bone. His first ever show he was champion minature and overall reserve supreme! Has won nearly everytime out. Now running with a small herd hoping to breed some cream's and coloureds as his girls are a variety of colours! A very nice compact pony. Sired one of our nicest foals last year- Red Riding Hood of Catchpool.
Nobelman of Catchpool
33" Blue Roan - 17/05/96
Extraordinary bone - a proper leg in each corner. Snubby is very good natured who loves people- only kept as a foal as he was so quiet! Grown into a gorgeous stallion who is brilliant to use on mares that are hard to get in foal. Hasn't failed at getting a mare in foal yet! Very easy to own. Probably the nicest natured stallion in the world! (along with Gauntlet&Chee!)

Niceman of Catchpool
32" Dun and White - 2003
Niceman is a beautifully marked little stallion, with loads of bone and personality. His sire was a prolific show winner and we are hoping to show him in the future. Nice colouring with equally nice markings. He has a gorgeous head and proving to have a tremendous nature. We need to find him a nice big herd! For Sale

Hyster of Brindister
30" skewbald - 2004
Hyster is by Swarthhoull Virna out of Benston Cher. He is a sweet little stallion who we will run with mares next year. Lovely temp and nicely marked. He is a good compact stallion that we hope will bring in new bloodlines as we had too many of our own stallions. We hope he'll give us some coloured foals.

We have recently sold many stallions, including Sandman who is pleasing his new owners, Adonis who is enjoying swimming in a loch in Shetland, Tuppence and Showman have been exported to Spain. They have been sad sales but we had far too many and could do with selling one or two more!
