Ponies For Sale

We will have ridden ponies for sale (we currently have some youngsters that will start work after the showing season.) We can also find a shetland for you and back it and get it going under saddle for you if required. Reasonable prices for quality ridden ponies.

Selling some of our miniature stallions as we have too many. Infact we need to sell more than just stallions as we are completely cutting back! Please ring for more details.

Foula Inkling

Grey 4yr old mare. Approx 31". Lovely sweet natured mare that loves to please. Had a tiny filly foal that we will probably retain.

She was also a fabulous mum and as she foaled late she had to be in quite a lot which she enjoyed.

Cerise of Catchpool

A tiny chestnut yearling filly with bags of personality. She does not think she is as small as she is! She is out of Halstock Cherry and by Tuppence of Catchpool (grey 31" exported to spain). Cerise will mature around 30" probably smaller.

Tiny grey yearling filly out of Foula Inkling by Nobleman of Catchpool. She should mature under 31". Again Tonks thinks she is big and has lots of personality!!!

Chestnut yearling colt brought down from the shetland Islands. He was champion at Lerwick sales and would do well showing.

Wenlock Fleur

Orange Dun 32" approx 5yr old mare. Had lovely colt last year, foaled easily and just had a gorgeous black filly (27/04/08). Can be sold before or after weaning. She is a sweet easy mare but we have too many and cutting back to original blood stock.

Ideal broodmare. £900 after weaning or £1,250 with foal.

Halfpenny of Catchpool

Halfpenny is a lovely sweet blue roan mare with plenty of bone (33" approx). She has caused an argument as I don't want to sell her but Mum says we have to many and she will go on to please someone else too (home is very important to me as I have a soft spot for this mare!!!). She is 10 this year and had some lovely foals in the past. She is by Adonis of Catchpool (now running up in the shetland Islands, he is grey with a black blaze) and out of Freya of Catchpool (a dun mare). Bred all sorts of colours herself including skewbald. Dobby of Catchpool

Dun colt foal with a dorsal stripe. Absolutely cracking small foal. Cracking colour, very cheeky! Loves paople already. Very late foal, born 24th September. Available at weaning. By Nobleman of Catchpool and out of Corriander. Has great stallion potential and we would definately keep him if we had more land!!! Will be great fun to show and I think he would love it! County standard, top quality pony. £400

Kibby of Houlland

Kibby is a 3yr old black filly. Approx 35". Brought down from the shetland Islands as a foal. Too many forces sale. Has been running with stallion so could well be in foal. She has plenty of colour in her breeding. SHe will make a nice brood mare. She has good Conformation and has a lot of presence. £800

Paddy and Murphy

2 black geldings to make a driving pair or childrens riding ponies. a 2yr old and a 3year old. Brought down from Aberdeen, county standard ponies with promising futures. They will be broken when rising 4, can be sold before then though.

Honeyacre Miss Molly Malone

5yr old 14.2hh dark bay mare. Molly is a home-bred mare and has a cracking temperament. Only for sale as concentrating on showing and I do not have time for them all. She is part bred welsh, and her sire is a 16hh show jumping stallion. Molly was professionally backed and now ridden out whenever I can. Hacked out alone or in company. Due to lack of time she went to Frankie (12yr old girl) to jump and have fun with which she is really enjoying and this has made us realise we cannot keep them all!!!! Molly loves jumping and would make a cracking allrounder. Snaffle mounth. Genuine fun horse.

3rd in her first ever workers class, jumping a lovely clear.

2nd in her first hunter trials, which she really really enjoyed. She needs a home that is going to do xc, hunter trials, hunting etc because that is what she'd love most!

1st in the Eventers Grand Prix (she hadn't been ridden for 2months before as I have so little time-hence she is for sale!!!)

Paith Orange Blossom

10yr old 13.2hh liver chestnut mare. Tango is a lovely section C mare with a beautiful head. She is extremely well bred and has a lovely nature! Tango loves being a busy bee and loves all the attention. She won when shown at a pony club show and was 3rd at a hunter trials recently. She is forward going but a snaffle mouth, she thinks she is the best so tends to jog!!! Suit competent teenager who wants to show at the highest level and have fun with. I took her hunting and she loved it and was probably the best pony I've ever hunted. Home is very important to us. She has had a foal in the past and was a lovely mum but I think she has too much to give as a ridden pony first.

Again only for sale as too many and cannot ride them all.

Cracking black & white shetland 6yr old gelding. Will make a fantastic ridden or lead rein pony. County standard. Ready to have a fantastic ridden career.

1st and qualified Glyn Greenwood inhand championship first time out! Sold with qualification.

This pony will go far. Being broken at the moment and proving to love the attention and has not put a foot wrong. Lovely nature, loves attention. He has had his feet and teeth done. He is also a half brother to one of the best ridden shetlands I had winning all over the country. So it is in his blood to be a winner! When he was entire he passed stallion licensing so is proven to be correct and a quality shetland. Rider found. Good luck to Mali.

Rustler

Bay 6yr old welsh section C. Rustler is a small section C with the kindest of hearts! We bought him the beginning of the winter for Frankie to hunt and he has been brilliant. Done everything he has been asked. Jumped clears everytime out even winning whp classes. Cracking pony for a child to learn the ropes. He took a novice rider show jumping and they both loved it! Kind pony who needs a loving home. Brilliant first ridden/ cradle stakes pony. Shame he is not bigger as he is completely out grown. Sad sale, only to a very good home. Out of Claylands Celeste and by Riccalton Gauntlet. Good strong foal should make 40". He is black going grey, will be just like his dad. Born on the 14th July. His full yearling sister was 2nd in Royal Welsh this year in a very big strong class. Good performance bloodlines to be a ridden pony which he is going to be! SOLD

Lanesbury Lad

Chestnut welsh section A 3yr gelding. By Glenmead Japhet and out of Lanesbury Gem. This pony has a nice blaze and is a lovely colour. He would make an ideal children's friend or companion for another horse. Gone to Lyndsay for her son, Good luck I'm sure he'll be fab!

Chestnut welsh part bred. 3yr old gelding. Sold to a lovely family to be a friend for their children which I'm sure he will do just that!

Craignant Gem has been SOLD to Helen in Yorkshire. Good luck to her daughter who will be showing her in welsh cob and m&m classes next year. Very sad sale but we have too many!
