Catchpuddle Shetland Stud
for those too small for the pool!
About 15 years ago we decided that my children could have a few very tiny Catchpool foals to run on to breed from themselves and so the Catchpuddle Stud was founded. Though starting with just two foundation mares ‘Mme d’Isle of Catchpool’ and ‘Diamante of Catchpool’ it is already finding success. Now with 5 mares (two daughters of Mme d'Isle, and one from Diamante (D.D) and one mare bought in) we are finding success. Congratulations to Collette (Daughter of Mme d'Isle) giving us our first foal of 2006 on January the 5th! (pictures will be up soon! Very early-she thinks she is a thoroughbred!!)

Three filly foals have been retained, two colts have passed licensing and one, ‘Bingo of Catchpuddle’ was one of very few British Bred ponies to receive a premium in Holland in 2004, achieved a second premium in 2005 and has had an outstanding start to 2006 with a first premium! Well done Bingo you are doing us proud!
